Corpus Christi Eucharistic Adoration
On Sunday, June 26, the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Church of Our Saviour will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament beginning at 3:30pm and concluding with Benediction before the start of the 5:00pm Mass.
In the 13th century, Pope Urban IV established Corpus Christi as a feast of the universal Church, celebrating the Body and Blood of Christ in the institution of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. St. Thomas Aquinas composed the office for Corpus Christi, which follows Trinity Sunday in the liturgical year and is the source of the Eucharistic hymns Pange Lingua Gloriosi and Tantum Ergo Sacramentum. All are invited.
